Regarding the GLASS CURTAIN WALLS with pre-stressed CABLES & TENSION ROD, these are glass curtain walls that are suspended from MINIMAL STAINLESS STEEL TENSION RODS or INOX PRESTRESSED CABLES. The SUSPENDED GLASS CURTAIN WALLS with CABLES & TENSION ROD is supposed to be the most '' LIGHT-WEIGHT, IMPRESSIVE and SUSPENDED CURTAIN WALL SYSTEM '', almost invisible to the eye, because they don't have any MASSIV steel or concrete substructure and they are completely FRAMELESS! The substructure is completely made from STAINLESS STEEL PRE-STRESSED CABLES or TENSION RODS, with tempered laminated glasses, connected via stainless steel INOX joints and silicon gaskets. However, the SUSPENDED GLASS CURTAIN WALLS with CABLES & TENSION ROD are completely airtight and waterproof.

• GLASSCON fully designs and delivers all static glass calculations for the glass thickness and type required, according to the European (EUROCODE 1 and DIN 18008-1, 18008-2, 18008-3  ) and American standards (ANSI) with Finite Element Analysis (FEM) and all the stainless steel connection accessories  (visit Structural Calculations)
• Use of STAINLESS STEEL WIRES, RODS, CABLES, JOINTS, SPIDERS and ROUTELS and all accessories and fittings needed. The SPIDER FIITINGS are from stainless steel casting 304, 316, 316Lm or V4.A Grades and MIRROR POLISHED for best protection against oxidation/corrosion.
