Full time – On-site Facade Site Manager
Athens, Greece
- Deep knowledge of steel structures, façade systems, stick systems, unitized curtain walls, cladding, glazing.
- Study project specifications to determine appropriate construction methods
- Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports
- Negotiate contracts for sub-contracting services and/or materials needed
- Plan, schedule, or coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines
- Coordinate on-site activities according to project’s plan while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Confer with sub-contractors, or design professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problems
- Check feasibility of design ideas, based on factors, modify drawings to match with circumstances, confer with engineering, production, or sales departments, modify designs to conform with customer specifications, production limitations, or changes in design trends
- Prepare and deliver final technical proposals to customers
- Serving as primary point of contact for the whole project
- Realize project from original concept through final implementation
- To check all the equipment, vehicles & installation tools required as per the project planning
- To check all technical details and submit drawings in time for approval
- To supervise site engineers and foremen managing the installation
- Understand the client techno-commercial requirements
- Complying with rules and requirements set by local authorities
- Guide Quality Department in Preparing Inspection & Test Plan, Quality Control Procedures and Method statements based on the requirements for fabrication and Installation activities
- Take site measurements and pass them on to the technical department
- Acquire new sub-projects, during main project realization (sales)
- When abroad, support all company’s suppliers, colleagues & others involved in the project, regarding accommodation, health issues etc. during project realization
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Software: AutoCAD 2D/3D, Excel, Primavera etc.
- Languages: fluent in English and French
- Strong social networking skills
- Minimum 10 years experience in similar position
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Russian and/or Turkish and/or Persian and/or Arabic
- PVC, ETFE & architectural membrane
- Bath, Delft or Leeds University degree
WE OFFER:
Fixed monthly Salary (depending on the project area) + Bonus (%) + Commission (%) according to new extra sub-projects acquired (sales) during main project realization.
